Alex Matveev graduated from Moscow State University of Railway Engineering (MIIT) with specialty bridges and tunnels civil engineer, Moscow, Russia in 2001.
After that he entered graduate school in MIIT, successfully defended his dissertation on “Structural Mechanics” specialty, subject “the criteria for identifying the most dangerous elements and stability loss of structures” and get the academic degree: Cand. of Tech. Sci. (Ph.D.).
In 2005 he took a position at PASS Team in the development team of PASS/START-PROF piping stress analysis software.
- Alex Matveev is one of the authors of the standards for the pipe stress analysis in Russian Federation: STO 10.001-2009 & GOST R 55596-2013 District heating systems/The standard for stress and seismic analysis, SA 03-005-07 & GOST 32388-2013 Process piping/The standard for the stress, vibration and seismic analysis.
