PASS Team Announces Release of Hydrosystem 4.7
PASS Team is pleased to announce release of PASS/Hydrosystem 4.7 software for fluid flow and thermal analysis. The new software version contains important enhancements and error fixes.
The most significant changes are listed below.
1. The ability to analyze mixing the “frozen” two-phase flows with different fluid compositions in different sources (when using the “STARS” library) was added.
2. The modeling of condensate drainage in two-phase gas-liquid one-component flows using the “Steam Trap” element was added.
3. For more convenience of input of initial data, all the tabs and fields with parameters which are required only for certain types of calculations, are marked in different colors in the program interface: red – parameters used only at heat calculation of the pipeline, green – at calculating waterhammer, yellow – at settling slurry flow calculation, blue – at calculations with parameters selection (sizing of pressure control valves, flow control devices, etc.).

If you have made any changes to the insulation database, then please save the InsulationDatabase.mdb file to some other location and replace the installed file by the saved version after the installation is completed.
